“What is meant for you will never go by you.”
My name is Rebecca (known to my friends as Beeha) and I live in a small, unheard of town in Scotland, UK. I am an aspiring business student who will hopefully be studying business management full time in Edinburgh this time next year. I couldn’t live without yoga or pilates and my most favourite thing is to dance. I do it all the time, no matter the place or time!
All my life I have been quite slim and toned. I have been a dancer for 15 years, I practiced ballet and contemporary dance since I was two years old. I also attended gymnastics when I was around five until I was about eight - I was very flexible but my flexibility has since deteriorated to hardly anything. Since I have always been slim, I basically ate whatever I want up until about a year ago, when I finally saw my stomach getting a little chubbier. I am at the stage of my life where I finally realise that eating chocolate bar after chocolate bar isn’t going to turn me into a strong healthy woman - and that is exactly what I want to be.
I have decided to take the lead in my life and begin turning my health around. I became obsessed with VS when I was eight. I was on holiday in Florida when I went to a mall with my 16 year old cousin and spent about 3 hours just staring at the clothes and underwear and finally settled on buying a bunny teddy bear that I ironically named Miranda, before I had any clue who Mrs Kerr was, or that she’d be the biggest influence on my life eight years later.
